On Tuesday, June 24 and Wednesday, June 25, the NATO summit will take place in The Hague. This international event comes with heightened security measures and temporary road closures, particularly between Amsterdam and The Hague. As a result, the Dutch government expects significantly increased traffic congestion starting Sunday, June 22 — with up to three times more traffic jams than usual on a daily basis.
What does this mean for you as a Roobos customer?
You rely on us for fresh flowers, delivered on time — especially when you're creating custom work for your clients. To prevent delays, we are temporarily adjusting our processes. We're bringing in extra staff and asking growers to deliver earlier. This way, we ensure your order arrives on time and in top quality — even during this exceptionally busy week.
Order one day earlier than you're used to.
To keep everything running smoothly, we kindly ask you to place your order one day earlier than usual. Our webshop will temporarily close earlier, but the product range remains the same — as long as you order on time. Please follow the schedule below carefully.
Please pay close attention to the applicable departure dates!
For departure on Monday, June 23 / delivery on Tuesday, June 24
→ Order no later than Thursday, June 19 at 23:59For departure on Tuesday, June 24 / delivery on Wednesday, June 25
→ Order no later than Sunday, June 22 at 23:59For departure on Wednesday, June 25 / delivery on Thursday, June 26
→ Order no later than Monday, June 23 at 23:59
🚫 There will be no departure on Thursday, June 26.
Important: From Monday, June 23 through Thursday, June 26, our webshop will temporarily close at 09:00 AM (instead of the usual closing time). Be sure to order on time to avoid disappointment.
You can also place orders over the weekend for Monday departures. Ordering up to 24 hours in advance is possible throughout the week, but the selection will be more limited. To access the full assortment, we recommend ordering at least 48 hours in advance.
Normal order deadlines apply again for departures on Friday, June 27.
